Good news to all you Bajrangi Bhaijaan fans out there – Salman Khan recently announced that there will be movie number two.
The news was shared by the actor-producer at the RRR event in Mumbai attended by SS Rajamouli, JR NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ram Charan and Karan Johar.
While speaking about how SS Rajamouli’s father gave him one of the best films of his career, Karan asked Salman if it’s an official announcement of the film, which he confirmed by saying, “Yes, Karan.”
He also stated that original writer KV Vijayendra Prasad has also written the script for the sequel.
The original film, which was released in 2015, was one of Salman’s biggest films and among the top 5 highest grossing Bollywood movies.
It stars Salman as Pawan Kumar Chaturvedi, an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman who embarks on a journey alongside a mute six-year-old Pakistani Muslim girl Shahida, separated in India from her parents, to return her back to her hometown in Pakistan.
