After much speculations caused by her decision to close her mainland studio, Taiwanese actress-producer Ruby Lin recently assured that there was nothing to be worried about.

As reported on Tencent, the actress set tongues wagging back in July, when she decided to close her work studio in Hengdian just a month before good friend Zhao Wei was blacklisted in China.

Rumours of an impending blacklist were further fuelled by husband Wallace Huo making a similar decision a year before.

However, in a recent interview, Ruby dismissed the notion that there was more to her decision, saying that she decided to move operations back to Taiwan as she didn’t have a lot of projects in China.

The actress also stated that she wanted to spend more time with her mum as well, after realising that they are both getting older.

Ruby is currently busy promoting her Netflix series, “Light the Night”.
