Two weeks after she tied the knot with fellow actor Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif is back to working again by announcing her new movie “Merry Christmas”.
On Christmas Day, the actress posted a photo of her alongside director Sriram Raghavan, Vijay Sethupathi with several others and announced that she will be filming the aforementioned movie.
“I’ve always wanted to work with Sriram Sir. He is a master when it comes to narratives that showcase thrillers and it’s an honour to be directed by him. Super excited to be teaming up with [Vijay Sethupathy] for this one produced by [Ramesh Taurani] and [Sanjay Routray],” she wrote.
The movie, which has begun its production this week, will be shot in Mumbai for a 23 December 2022 release.
Katrina’s last movie prior to her marriage was the Akshay Kumar-starrer, “Sooryavanshi“. She also has two more movies to be released in 2022, “Phone Bhoot” and “Tiger 3”.
On the other hand, the actress also recently posted her first photo with Vicky post-wedding with a backdrop of a Christmas tree, wishing all her fans a Merry Christmas.
The couple had kept their honeymoon destination a secret, though fans believed that it was in the Maldives when the actress posted a pic of the intricate mehendi design on her hands, with the beach in the background.
