Kareena Kapoor recently confirmed that she has been tested positive for COVID-19.
The Bollywood actress announced the news on Instagram Story on 14 December following previous announcement made by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), saying that she has isolated herself immediately following all medical protocols.
“I request anyone who has come in contact with me to please get tested,” she wrote. “My family and staff are also double vaccinated. They are currently not showing any symptoms.”
Kareena also stated that she is currently feeling fine and hope to be up and about soon.
BMC previously stated that Kareena, as well as good friend Amrita Arora violated COVID norms and attended several parties.
This include an early Christmas party at Rhea Kapoor’s home, as well as a Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham-themed party at Karan Johar’s place that was also attended by various celebrities including Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.
