Angelica Panganiban is never one to make the wrong decision when it comes to her movies…
…except the time when she decided to decline a role in Cathy Garcia-Molina’s 2013 hit film, “Four Sisters and a Wedding”.
The actress shared her regret about the said project in an interview with Boy Abunda recently, saying that she still hasn’t watched the film until today.
Without saying which role was offered to her, Angelica said that she did not end up in the film due to some disagreements.
“There were just some things we did not get to agree on, so I didn’t do it. When I told them I won’t do it, Star Cinema was like, “Okay”. I was like, why did they say okay immediately?” she said with a laugh.
The film ended up becoming a big hit, with Toni Gonzaga, Bea Alonzo, Angel Locsin and Shaina Magdayao playing four sisters who reunited to prevent their younger brother (Enchong Dee) from tying the knot with his fiancée.
Its prequel, “Four Sisters Before the Wedding” was also a hit when it came out in 2020, with Charlie Dizon, Alexa Ilacad, Gillian Vicencio and Belle Mariano portraying the characters played by the original stars.
