TGV Cinemas is elated to reward its cinemagoers, after finally hitting its 1,000,000th admission in Malaysia. Yup, that’s one Million.
In an announcement made by the cinema chain on social media, TGV revealed that they are giving out free Royale popcorn combo (yes, FREE!) when you watch a movie on 2nd December at any TGV cinemas throughout Malaysia.
To redeem, simply:
- Watch a movie on 2 December 2021.
- Join MovieClub as a member so that the free combo will be credited into your MovieClub account within 2 working days.
- Redeem the free combo via walk-in by scanning your MovieClub e-card at any TGV Cinemas Candy Bar.

Mohit Bhargava, TGV General Manager Sales & Marketing said, “We have reached this milestone in a short while considering we are operating with seating capacity restrictions and are still unable to welcome back children & families back to cinemas. Whilst we are delighted by this milestone, at the same time, we remain overwhelmed by customer feedback from guests wanting to bring their children to cinemas especially leading into the holiday season.”
“Malaysian families love the TGV Cinema Experience and cannot seem to understand why they can take their children to restaurants & theme parks but not the cinemas. We wish to assure our guests that this is something we are working on closely with the government authorities to review and hope to share some positive news soon,” he added.
TGV reopened its doors to moviegoers in Malaysia back on 23 September, after a long and challenging hiatus following the Movement Control Order that was implemented to clamp down the spread of COVID-19.
With major blockbusters such as “Spider-Man No Way Home”, “Ghostbusters: Afterlife”, “The Matrix Resurrections” and “The King’s Man” all releasing in December, Malaysians are spoilt for choice as they return to enjoy Blockbuster Stories being told the way they were meant to be, on the BIG SCREEN.
