Bollywood actress Preity Zinta is now officially a mother to twins via surrogacy.

The actress shared the good news on social media on 18 November, writing, “Gene [and] I are overjoyed [and] our hearts are filled with so much gratitude [and] with so much love as we welcome our twins Jai Zinta Goodenough [and] Gia Zinta Goodenough into our family. We are very excited about this new phase in our lives.”

“A heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses and to our surrogate for being part of this incredible journey. Loads of love and light – Gene, Preity, Jai & Gia.”

Fans and friends alike took to the comments to congratulate the couple, including actress Shilpa Shetty, who wrote, “Sooo happy and excited hearing this piece of news my darling. Heartiest congratulations my darling PZ, sending you, Gene, and the babies all my love.”

It is noted that Shilpa herself welcomed her daughter Samisha via surrogacy last year.

Preity tied the knot with partner Gene Goodenough back in 2016 in Los Angeles, and moved to the US soon after.

The twins are the couple’s first children together.
