Although their reunion through the movie “Inshallah” has been shelved indefinitely, it was revealed that Salman Khan and his “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam” director Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be working with one another soon, but via a different platform.
According to Pinkvilla, the filmmaker will be a part of a docu-series called “Beyond the Star” that will be produced by Salman Khan’s SKF alongside Wiz Films and Applause, and will be revolving around the actor’s life and career.
“The docu-series gives a glimpse into the life of Salman Khan, beyond the superstar that he is and the producers are keen to interact with all key stakeholders of Salman’s career,” said an insider.
Reportedly, Salman has approached several directors, producers, and actors who have worked with him in the past, and that Sanjay was one of the filmmakers who have agreed to be a part of the docuseries.
“They are not planning to collaborate on a feature film anytime soon, but they keep interacting on and off over the call in times of need. There is no bad blood despite Inshallah being abruptly put on hold,” the insider added.
