Saber Interactive, known for video games like “The Witcher 3” and “Halo” is set to collaborate with iLLOGIKA and EP1T0ME on a video game based on the hit movie, “A Quiet Place”.
On 26 October, the game publisher announced the good news, stating that the upcoming video game will not be thoroughly following the storyline of the Emily Blunt-starrer, but will still present similar thrills.
“The first official video game set in the terrifying A Quiet Place universe will deliver an original story and gameplay that captures the compelling suspense, emotion and drama for which the series is famous,” it stated.
Hervé Sliwa, Creative Director of game developer iLLOGIKA, stated, “The A Quiet Place video game will let fans experience the tension of the films with a level of immersion they’ve never felt before. We’re excited to work with EP1T0ME and to team up with Saber Interactive to share this unique vision of hope and horror with players everywhere in the future.”
“A Quiet Place” was released back in 2018 and immediately became a horror fan favourite for its plotline and performance from its cast – that sees real-life husband and wife John Krasinski and Emily Blunt portraying a married couple who have to keep their children alive and safe in a post-apocalyptic Earth filled with monsters.
The second film was released earlier this year, with another title to be released sometime in 2023.
