24 hours after her husband Raj Kundra was released on bail, Shilpa Shetty took to social media with another quote.
On 21 September, the actress posted a photo of a rainbow, with the words from Roger Lee that read, “Rainbows exist to prove that beautiful things can happen after a bad storm.”
She also posted her #ShilpaKaMantra post a few hours later, which read, “There are always going to be moments that push you to the ground. In times like these, I truly believe that if you fall seven times, make yourself strong enough to be able to stand back up eight times. This rise will demand a lot of courage, grit, will-power, and strength during some of your most difficult moments.”
“But, these qualities will only make you more resilient and robust in this journey called life. Every time that you rise back up, you will come back with renewed determination and motivation to make even the impossible possible.”
Raj Kundra was granted bail by the court on 20 September, two months after his arrest while investigations were ongoing regarding the pornography racketeering case involving his Hotshots app that was used to stream adult content.
“Investigation was over and the chargesheet was filed and now further custody was not required. Court ruled that since the charge sheet is filed and as it had already ruled that videos in question were shot with the consent of adult women, there was no need to keep the accused behind bars,” said Raj’s legal rep Prashant Patil.
