While several ABS-CBN artistes are now signed with GMA, former Kapuso Lovi Poe announced that she has instead transferred network to be a Kapamilya.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the actress, who appeared at the signing event, stated that she is thankful to GMA for taking a chance on her when she first started.
“I have utmost respect and gratitude to the network that has given me my roots and a heart full of memories,” she wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for planting my dreams. Thank you for giving it time, love and effort to water it.”
With the network transfer comes new projects, with Lovi revealing that she will be filming a new series with Piolo Pascual – a remake of the hit Korean drama, “Flower of Evil”.
On the other hand, the actress will also be working in her first Hollywood movie, after being cast in the upcoming biopic, “The Chelsea Cowboy”, co-starring Alex Pettyfer and Poppy Delevingne. The biopic is based on the life of actor and gangster John Bindon, with Lovi playing blues British singer Dana Gillespie!
