After several months in the United States, Sharon Cuneta announced that she is now back in the Philippines.
On 3 August, the actress posted photos from her quarantine unit, which is in the same building as her home but a different wing where hotels are located, and wrote, “Arrived back home in Manila very quietly at 4-something in the morning on August 1. Am now in my 10-day quarantine.”
She also shared photos of flowers from her husband Kiko Pangilinan and welcome banners from her children in the same post, saying that it really made her happy to see them.
Although she is elated to be home, Sharon admitted that she is going through so much, but that she has left everything to God and “trust Him completely”.
The actress is also excited for her upcoming movie, “Revirginized”, which will be released on 6 August.
It is noted that Sharon travelled to the US in early May to be a part of Jo Koy’s all-Filipino cast Hollywood film, that was to be produced by Steven Spielberg. Sadly, she missed her opportunity due to a “false positive” COVID test. She decided instead to stay in the country to “breathe and collect” and enjoy the chance to live normally.
