Realising the fragility of life in the times of the pandemic, Annie Liu recently revealed that she has decided to try something new in her life.
That is to buy herself a pet. A bird, to be exact.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who spoke to the media to promote her new movie, “Ladies Market” alongside co-star Ron Ng, revealed that her bird Makiki is now a big part of her life.
“Before the pandemic I had a lot that I wanted to do, but I would think too much about what would happen after I did them. After the pandemic, I realised that I should do what I want to do instead of thinking too much about it,” she said.
As to why she decided to have a pet bird, Annie said that it is the greatest promise in her life.
“I didn’t keep it because I was bored. I want to raise it well. Now I have the feeling of being a mum,” she added.
Aside from the bird, Annie said she has also started on many other hobbies and learning new skills, including painting and woodworking.
