After being engaged for over two and a half years, Yam Concepcion and partner Miguel Cuunjieng are now officially married.
As reported on ABS-CBN, the news was confirmed by reporter Mj Felipe, who shared a photo from the ceremony and wrote, “The couple exchanged ‘I do’s’ in an intimate civil ceremony attended by family members and close friends.”
The said wedding, which was held in New York where Yam has been spending her time for the past two months, was also attended by radio and TV personality Tim Yap, who shared clips from the ceremony that was held on a boat, with the Statue of Liberty in the background and bearing witness to the union.
The “Init sa Magdamag” actress surprised many in June when she admitted to have been engaged to Miguel since December 2018. He proposed during a trip to Niseko, Japan.
Last week, she admitted to have been busy planning for her wedding, which she said will be held “later this month”.
The couple have been together for six years prior to their marriage.
