Rumour has it that Shah Rukh Khan’s long-delayed comeback movie “Pathan” is set to resume filming soon.
As reported on Koimoi, sources recently stated that some of the team members of the upcoming action film have already received their vaccinations with more to get their jabs over the next week.
“Buzz in the industry is that the government will give a green signal to shoots after June 15. That way, the team will be ready to begin filming in a bio-bubble. The production house is treading carefully, given the impact of the second wave, and will film the portions entirely inside the Yash Raj studio in Andheri,” the source added.
It is noted that the movie began production earlier this year, but had to halt filming after completing their first schedule in Mumbai due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
On the other hand, another rumour emerged that the movie will be filming overseas next, with some key scenes to be shot in Russia or Finland.
A source stated, “When this schedule will take place, it’s difficult to say right now. It all depends on the rules in the European Union when they plan to travel. Also, producer Aditya Chopra would like all unit members to be fully vaccinated as this can be mandatory.”
The upcoming movie will also star John Abraham and SRK’s “Chennai Express” and “Om Shanti Om” co-star, Deepika Padukone.
SRK’s last feature film was the 2018’s “Zero”. He had since only made special appearances and cameos, and even lending his voice in the Hindi version of the live-action Disney film, “The Lion King”.
