TVB actor Ricco Ng recently confessed that the leaked explicit video of a man in a shower was indeed him, and that the case is now under police investigation.
As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who made his first public appearance at a press conference for his long-running show, “Come Home Love: Lo and Behold”, declined to elaborate more when asked about the said video because of its status as a police case, though stressed that he was not affected by it.
“I would like to focus on work. Actually, I want to thank everybody for their support during this period of time, including colleagues, friends and fans,” he said.
Asked if he regrets ever taking the video, Ricco simply responded, “It shouldn’t have been done.”
The actor stated that he wasn’t very shocked when the clip was leaked and went viral, but declined to respond to speculations that it could have been exposed by an ex.
Earlier in May, Ricco’s name suddenly made headlines after a 12-second video clip of a man touching himself while under the shower circulated on the internet, with many saying that the man in the video resembles the said actor. Ricco released no statement about it but was seen going to the police station and was accompanied by his family shortly after.
On the other hand, co-star Andrew Yuen stated that he didn’t say anything to Ricco about the issue when it came out, stating that he knew that the actor would be able to deal with it.
“The most important thing was for him to come back and fulfil his duty,” he added.
In related news, it was revealed “Come Home Love: Lo and Behold” will be adding 180 more episodes, making the total number of episodes to be 1,400.
