Jo Byeong-Gyu is currently in talks to star in a new drama based on a webtoon called, “History of Losers”.

As reported on Maekyung, the actor, most known for his role as Cha Ki-Joon in “Sky Castle”, may be playing a college freshman majoring in Korean literature who self-reflects a lot if the deal comes to fruition.

The webtoon series, written by Kim Poong and drawn by Shim Yoon-Su, is a story of love and relationship that reflects the pathetic side of people in love.

Said Jo’s agency, HB Entertainment, “The drama is one of the works in which Jo Byeong-Gyu was offered to appear. We are carefully reviewing it.”

On the other hand, the actor’s OCN drama, “The Uncanny Encounter” can be streamed on Netflix, and has been renewed for a second season.

Jo made headlines back in February this year when he was accused of being involved in school violence in the past. He had since denied the allegations.
