Sarah Michelle Gellar is making her TV comeback, and it would be nothing like her biggest TV role Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
The actress, who was last seen in a main role on TV through “The Crazy Ones” co-starring the late Robin Williams, is set to star in a new Young Adult series for Amazon called “Hot Pink”, a comedy loosely based on Elana K. Arnold’s “What Girls Are Made Of”.

The story follows 16 year-old Nina Faye, who – after being told by her mother once that there is no such thing as unconditional love – decides to do all she can to prove her worthiness to her boyfriend. But when he breaks up with her, Nina is lost and sets out to find out what the conditions of love really are.
The series will be one of the many upcoming YA projects acquired by Amazon, which include “Panic” and “The Wilds” – the latter renewed for a second season.
Gellar’s last TV project was appearing as herself in an episode of the final season of “The Big Bang Theory”.
