The 50 year-old filmmaker stated that they were just trying their luck when they submitted the movie to the festival, and didn’t expect to win, besting other movies including UK’s “Dead Destination” and “Thousand of Years” from the US.
“The movie received criticisms from film critics on YouTube. So, we are proud of this victory because it is important for the team. At the same time this success will be our benchmark for our future films,” he said.
