After keeping mum about the identity of her fiancé, Selena Lee finally admitted that she is actually engaged to marry fitness instructor Anson Cha.
As reported on On CC, the identity of Selena’s fiancé was discovered a few days ago, after the actress, who recently returned to Hong Kong from Canada, was spotted meeting Anson at a Japanese restaurant in Tin Hau.
Anson, though unknown to the public, is a popular trainer among celebrities, having worked with the likes of top stars like Chow Yun Fat and Aaron Kwok. He is also rumoured to come from a wealthy background.
When asked about it, Selena confessed that Anson is her fiancé, saying that they were introduced to each other by a mutual friend. However, she decided to keep the relationship private due to his non-celebrity status.
As to whether the two of them are preparing for their wedding now that she is back in Hong Kong, the actress stated that they won’t necessarily get married so soon as the pandemic is still ongoing, and that it will only be held when it is safe since her family is currently in Canada.
Selena also admitted that she will continue to work in different countries as she is doing now after marriage, stressing that she and Anson are used to being separated and have tacit understanding of each other’s situation.

It was just early last month on 8 February that Selena announced the good news of her engagement on social media with two photos of her wearing her engagement ring, writing, “The Year of the Ox. New and exciting beginnings.” She added the hashtag, “I Said Yes”. She did not reveal her fiancé then.
