Although the series itself has yet to premiere, it was reported that Disney+ is set to develop a spin-off series centering on a character that will be featured in “Hawkeye”.
Sources revealed that the streaming platform will be creating a whole new show about the deaf Native America superhero Echo – real name Maya Lopez – whose power is the ability to copy another person’s movements or fighting style. Echo is known to be in the circles of Daredevil, Moon Knight and the Avengers.
The “Hawkeye” character is currently portrayed by Native American actress Alaqua Cox.
