Andy Lau’s camp has recently dismissed rumours that the singer will be resuming his “My Love Andy Lau World Tour” in May this year.
As reported on China Times, the singer previously had to postpone more than ten concert shows that were originally scheduled to be held in May last year at the Taipei Arena due to the pandemic.
However, sources recently claimed that with the COVID vaccine beginning to roll out, the singer reportedly has already applied to secure the venue for a show at the end of May. However, Andy reportedly kept the information a secret for now as the team is still unsure whether they will be able to hold the concert or not.

In response to the rumours, Andy’s rep stated, “We have never released such news. We would always respond to the media. If there are any good news, we will definitely announce it. We will inform you about any new development, and will not respond to any more rumours.”
The world tour, which started in late 2018, was previously postponed after its 14th show after Andy suffered from a throat infection. It was scheduled to restart soon after, but was again delayed due to the Hong Kong protests.
In 2020, Andy announced that the concert was cancelled altogether due to the pandemic.
