Fans of renowned British chef Gordon Ramsay will rejoice to hear that the
culinary personality is set to open his first restaurant in Malaysia.
The news was shared by Sunway Resort Kuala Lumpur on 13 January on its
social media platforms, which read, “Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill will open
soon at Sunway Resort, marking the world-renowned chef’s first-ever
restaurant in Malaysia.”
“Arriving in June 2021, this all-day dining restaurant – the concept’s first
location outside of Mayfair, London – will make every occasion truly
extraordinary. With tables for two, family seating or private rooms, along
with best of Gordon Ramsay’s signature dishes, dramatic décor and
spectacular views of the lagoon, you can create your ultimate culinary
experience.”

The restaurant will have a variety of offerings throughout the day when it
opens soon – breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and cocktail hours;
ranging from light bites to Ramsay’s own signature cuisine that includes
Beef Wellington.
Although the restaurant will only be launching in June, it has already
started accepting reservations.
Malaysian netizens who saw the news expressed their happiness over finally
having the chance to taste Ramsay’s cuisine, with one commenting, “I want
him to call me an Idiot Sandwich!”
Known for his bluntness and fiery temper, Ramsay became a household name
following the success of his many cooking shows, including “Ramsay’s Kitchen
Nightmares”, “The F Word”, as well as “MasterChef” and its children version,
“MasterChef Junior”.
