Despite the many speculations surrounding her mysterious husband, Hong Kong actress Shirley Yeung stated that she has no intention to reveal his identity to the public.
In an interview with Mingpao recently, the actress, who was even rumoured to be wife number two to an already married man because of the secrecy, clarified that that’s not the case at all and that she is the only wife.
“I don’t think about the deadline [on revealing his identity]. Let it be. My husband is quite shy. It’s hard to imagine what it will be like for a person who is not from this industry. I will respect his wishes,” she said.
Despite the secrecy, it is clear that Shirley is in love, as she expressed how happy she is with him.
“I have always wanted to have a happy family. I have been on the rocks before. But I am happy now. I will maintain the same mindset and work hard, and hope that this relationship will always be a happy one,” she said.
Asked if she plans to have another child with her husband following the birth of their first child and Shirley’s second last year, the actress said that she would rather focus on only two kids.
“It would be unfair for the both of them if I have another one, so we may not try again,” she added.
