With the pandemic entering its first year, Eason Chan admitted that he has been enjoying an ordinary life more and more.
As reported on Epoch Times, the singer, who spoke to Taiwanese DJ Elsa to promote his new song recently, stated that having a lot of time for himself and his family enabled him to do everything that he had neglected back when he was travelling all over the place.
“I exercise at home and go on a run to stay healthy. I also spend a lot of time with my family, listening to music and walk the dog. I enjoy all of it very much. I don’t even miss the days of flying around too much,” he said.
Eason stated that he is not one to view the pandemic as a “window period”, but a way for him to feel the surroundings and experience life.
When asked if he has found other life interests, Eason joked that unlike others, he has not discovered any love for cooking.
“I am more interested on working on the house. Due to the climate in Hong Kong, the house may have wall problem or water leakage. I have been renovating and decorating, and found new interest in learning the architecture and structure of the house,” said the former graduate of Architecture.
The singer also shared the three songs he most frequently played at home – Bill Withers’ “Lovely Day”, Fairground’s “Perfect”, and Billy Joel’s “My Life”.
“The classics always sooth you whenever you listen to them,” he said.
