Here’s another feather in Malaysia’s cap, as Sabahan hip hop group K-Clique has recently been nominated in the upcoming MTV European Music Awards (EMAs)!

“MTV EMA BEST SOUTHEAST ASIA ACT? ? don’t forget to vote for us! Voting period 6/10 till 3/11. Lets go guys! https://www.mtvema.com/en-asia #SAFE #MTVAsia #MTVEMA,” the group posted on their Facebook.

K-Clique, made up of members MK, Noki, Tuju, SoMean, KDeaf, FareedPF, Gnello and NastyNas, is a hip hop group that hails from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

They received the nomination in the Best Southeast Asia Act category for their song, “Merais”.

Fans will have until this 3 November to vote for the group, who will be competing against the likes of Singaporean singer-actor Benjamin Kheng and Indonesian singer Agnez Mo.
