As the verdict for former prime minister Najib Razak’s 1MDB trial looms near, Malaysians who’d like to understand further on what the former premier is being charged for can do so by watching “The Kleptocrats”.

This weekend is the best time to watch the 1MDB documentary film as streaming platform iwonder will be granting free access to it for two days.

“Ahead of next week’s verdict, we wanted to make sure that all Malaysians have the opportunity to go beyond the headlines and see another dimension covering the international events leading up to what is set to be a defining judgement for the country and its people,” said iwonder CEO, James Bridges, in a statement.
“The Kleptocrats is must-see viewing for every Malaysian who has followed Najib’s trial and will be affected in some way by next week’s verdict and we’re committed to giving as many people as possible the opportunity to see it.”
No lock-in contracts or payment details are required for the free streaming. Users just have to register for an iwonder account at iwonder.com, open from 12am on Saturday, 25 July.
The documentary will then be available for free streaming to registered users until Sunday midnight (12am on Monday, 27 July).
