News broke over the weekend that popular Japanese actor Haruma Miura was found dead at his home in Tokyo.
NHK reported that the late actor was found by his manager, who went to check on him after he failed to show up for work.
Haruma was found hanging by the neck and a will, also reported by other media as a suicide note, was discovered in his room.
He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The late singer-actor started his acting career in the late 1990s and had since starred in various Japanese TV shows and movies, including the “Attack on Titan” film series.
Three of his movies will be released posthumously, “Brave: Gunjō Senki”, “Gift of Fire” and “The Confidence Man JP: The Movie 2”, the latter which is slated to open in Japan this week.
He was 30.
