Following its tremendous success last year, action film “Wira” is now the latest Malaysian title to be made available on video streaming platform Netflix.

Netflix recently acquired the rights to stream “Wira”, allowing subscribers to watch the Adrian Teh-directed movie from this 15 June.

“Malaysians who live around the world now have the chance to enjoy the stories of our national heroes,” said Adrian, as quoted by Variety.
Previously, the co-production between ACT 2 Pictures, Multimedia Entertainment, Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC), Astro Shaw and Primeworks Studios was screened in more than 100 cinemas in Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei and Singapore.
It stars actors from Malaysia and Indonesia such as Hairul Azreen, Henley Hii, Fify Azmi, Dain Said, Yayan Ruhian, Ismi Melinda and many more.
This isn’t the first Adrian Teh movie to be streamed on Netflix, as his army-themed action film “Paskal The Movie” is also available for streaming on the same platform.
Aside from “Wira” and “Paskal The Movie”, Netflix is also streaming a few other Malaysian titles. Among them are “Pulang”, “Munafik 2”, “Polis Evo”, “Sangkar”, “Dendam Pontianak”, “Fly By Night”, “Jagat” and “Crossroads: One Two Jaga”.
