When she’s not busy being a doting mummy to her toddler son, Seth, Malaysian singer Shila Amzah is, of course, busy charming her fans with her beautiful vocals.

Her recent post on Instagram is a video that shows off her pipes, as she performs a moving cover of the song “Enggan”, originally sung by Fauziah Latiff.

“Absolutely love this song by the loveliest [Fauziah Latiff],” Shila captioned her video.
Saying that it is a tough song to cover, fans nevertheless find her version of it just as beautiful as the 2003 original (if not better, some even claim) and praise her for it.
“What’s harder is not the technical part but having to control my emotions while singing the song,” Shila admitted.

As the singer spends most of her time at home now, with the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) still enforced in Malaysia until this 9 June, she’s found another way to entertain herself and her fans while staying safe at home.
That is by streaming her “cooking show” on YouTube every weekend. She calls her fans to join her during the stream, saying that it’s better to have friends around while she cooks. Fans who want to join her just have to tune in to the singer’s YouTube channel every Saturday at 9pm.
