Some individuals and families are hit harder by the Movement Control Order (MCO) than most. To help them out, several local artistes have come together to lend a helping hand via the “Together We Can”, #TogetherForHumanity, entertainment charity campaign.
They sing and do interviews during the 2-hour Facebook live stream from 4pm to 6pm daily, all while encouraging viewers to donate to the less fortunate. Read on below to get to know a bit more about these charitable celebrities!
Dasha Logan
Talent obviously runs in the family, seeing that Dasha Logan is the daughter of the late Alleycats vocalist, the legendary Loga a.k.a. Loganathan Arumugam. Witness her talent in the video above, in which she performs a live cover of Alicia Key’s “If I Ain’t Got You”.
Cuurley
Singer-songwriter, producer, DJ, composer Cuurley has been in the music industry for over a decade now and collaborated with some of the biggest names in the local scene. Take a listen above to his work with Altimet and Malik Abdullah – the “Ejen Ali The Movie” OST, “Kita Jaga Kita”.
Nadhira
R&B songstress Nadhira has been churning out songs in the local music industry for a decade now, always bringing something different with every track. Even though she’s a classically trained pianist, she no doubt is able to pull off any musical genre.
Hello Luqman
Hello Luqman, also stylised as Helloluqman, is a singer-songwriter who does covers of hit songs on his YouTube and Instagram accounts. You can hear his rap cover above of P. Ramlee’s “Tunggu Sekejap”.
