Malaysia is now in the third week of the Movement Control Order (MCO) that was enforced to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the country and people are getting bored of staying at home.
Due to this, the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (or Kementerian Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (KKMM)) has taken the initiative to launch a digital concert called #MuzikDiRumah.
“The objective of this concert and online entertainment is to produce an entertainment programme that will encourage citizens to stay at home. Aside from that, the programme will also leave a moderate impact on the economy and generate income for the artistes and production crew.
“This initiative is also to strengthen unity among Malaysian citizens in facing COVID-19, aside from spreading positivity and important information through social media,” said KKMM in a statement, as quoted by BH Online.
Through the digital concert, more than 300 artistes, production crew and producers will be involved in making #MuzikDiRumah a success.
Among the singers who will be performing are Meet Uncle Hussain, Hazama, Stacy, Hujan, Datuk Jamal Abdillah, Ayda Jebat, Soo Wincci and many more.
