Last month, it was announced that Miriam Yeung’s concert in Malaysia had to be postponed to a new date. No surprise, it was due to the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
However, a recent update from organiser Star Planet reveals that the concert has been cancelled altogether.
“Despite many efforts made by all participating parties to carry on the show, decision was eventually reached that the rescheduled show in KL would not happen within this year due to the various reasons including the artist’s schedule and venue availability, along with the uncertainties resulted from the impact of coronavirus epidemic.
“Hence, the KL gig will be officially called off,” it was announced in a press statement.
The Hong Kong singer was originally scheduled to hold her first Malaysian concert in nearly six years at Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil on 21 March 2020.
