Exactly one year since their last Christmas Party, Malaysian indie band An Honest Mistake is blocking 21 December again for another epic celebration of the season.
Here’s the info on their “An Honest Christmas Party”:
Date: 21 December 2019 (Saturday)
Time: 6pm
Venue: Six In The City, PJ
Get the tickets at the pre-sale price of RM35 via https://ahmxmas2019.peatix.com/ or for RM50 at the door.
Performers at the party include – of course – the band themselves who will be singing possibly 20 songs or more, inclusive of their older hits and newer tracks; indie acoustic group Battle Bloom; electronic pop sensation Block J; indie rockers Lxcid; sexy R&B singer Nadhira; downtempo R&B duo Seazons; pop punkers Keisey; chill electronica with SHN and producer/rapper Reckless Escapades with Maruxa Lynd & DJ Hooligang.
There will be games to play, merchandise to splurge on, and plenty of food to gobble on. Des Puffmeister popcorn, Tok Pork siew yok, myBurgerLab burger, just to name a few. Not forgetting the free flow of drinks courtesy of Tiger Beer and Jameson Irish Whiskey. Those looking for new tattoos can also get inked by Shipwreck Tattoos.
Where does #OneLastMistake fit it in all of this? Well, according to the band, this could be their last show with guitarist Leonard.
“It’s been a crazy journey but every journey must come to an end. Internally, we’ve been joking about it saying that this would be #ONELASTMISTAKE. We will be hosting the show and we will be sharing stories throughout,” the band posted on social media.
For fans who feel down after reading that, here’s a gift from the band to cheer you up – their new Christmas cover, “Mistletoe is for Quitters” originally by Forever The Sickest Kids. Play it proud, play it loud!
