Organised by 24OWLS, a new business collective from the people behind the last five editions of Laneway Festival Singapore, The Alex Blake Charlie Sessions promises a whole day-long festival, set within an unusual heritage locale, with music ranging from pop rock and R&B to indie-folk and electronica.
This will be the first large-scale music event to be held at the Pasir Panjang Power Station.
The raw, industrial space will be transformed into a stunning setting with varied performance areas, dedicated relaxation corners, as well as shopping and food-and-beverage stalls.
An Artist-in-Residence programme will also be launched, involving a group of artists and illustrators from Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand who will turn blank walls and seating pods into works of art.
Singapore’s own Vandetta will be performing! |
