Gentle Bones spreads positivity with “Smile For Me”, gentle bones, music, news, singapore, theHive.Asia

Gentle Bones returns with a dreamy and uplifting track called “Smile For Me”.

As the title implies, the song does coax a smile out of anyone listening as its smooth melody is reminiscent of a relaxing day just lazing by the beach. The singer’s soothing voice combines well with the light bass that manages not to overpower the kind message of the song.
Produced by Gentle Bones himself with MYRNE, the single is like a beacon of hope for those going through a troubling period in their life with its attempt to bring a positive message and fresh sonic experience to a current generation of music that rarely explores that path.
“I write this song because of my family, friends, everyone that I’ve met in my life and the beautiful people that listen to my music,” said the singer.
“This is for you. Only you can give yourself the love you need.”

Gentle Bones, born Joel Tan in sunny Singapore, was the first Singaporean music act to be signed by Universal Music Group on a multi rights deal and was also the first youngest English music recording artist to achieve two sold-out concerts. In 2016, he earned himself a spot at the inaugural Forbes ‘30 under 30’ list for entertainment personalities.
Since his #1 self-titled debut EP in 2014, the 25-year-old now has three albums under his belt and has taken his music to fans across Asia with live performances in solo concerts and festivals across Korea, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Malaysia.
