Following its successful run in various cities in China and Canada, musical play “An Accident of Love” is all set to make its first ever stop in Malaysia.

Adapted from the 1983 Taiwanese movie “Papa Can You Hear Me Sing?”, the real tear-jerker tells of a speech-impaired veteran soldier, now struggling to make ends meet as a scrap collector, whose adopted daughter A-Mei shuns him and her friends after finding success in showbiz.

Songs that will be performed in the musical include “Any Empty Wine Bottles for Sale,” “The Same Moonlight,” “Come with Me, Please,” and “Whether or Not”. Della Ding’s popular songs “I Love Him,” “Run Away from Home,” and “Qin Ren” are also part of the setlist as well as original compositions written by Andrew Chu, “Fight” and “Diva and Doll”.
