Android users in Malaysia who also happen to be avid mobile game players would be happy to know there is a new game in town, and it is currently only available in Malaysia.
That’s right, Malaysians are the first to try out the all-new “Crash Bandicoot Mobile”!
CNET reports the soft launch is most likely a beta test of sorts before the game gets released globally. King, the studio behind the game as well as the highly popular Candy Crush, has yet to announce the rollout dates for other regions and on iOS.
The endless runner game is available for download at the Google Play Store. According to the game’s page on the store, players will get to “explore lands & dodge the dangers of Turtle Woods, Lost City and Temple Ruins”.
The description of the game also states, “In this new mobile episode, Dr Neo Cortex has dispatched mutagen henchmen across the multiverse to enslave all dimensions. With the help of his sister Coco, Crash must bash Cortex’s minions back to their own dimensions! Run, spin and slide your way into madness with this new Crash Bandicoot game!”
As mentioned above, it is an endless runner game. Crash will automatically run and the player controlling him just has to slide their finger across the screen steer him as he spins, slides and speeds through each level.
“Crash Bandicoot” started as a game exclusively for PlayStation in 1996. After undergoing several redesigns in the following years, the game went into hiatus from 2011. It was later revived as “Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy” in 2016. The recently released “Crash Bandicoot Mobile” is the first mobile version of the game.
